Individuals and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations registered with the IRS can request donations on Open Humanity. For-profit businesses are not allowed to register and request.
Yes, donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations are tax-deductible. We’ll provide a receipt for your donation for easy reporting on your year-end taxes. Currently, donations to individuals are not considered tax-deductible.
Your donation history and tax reports are always available on your account page.
Donations to individuals are processed immediately. Nonprofits can customize their settings in their account page to ship donations at the frequency that works best for them.
